I bought this after seeing so many poor reviews of other brands for this type of product. On several other sites, Danby had the highest reviews. Buyer Beware! The unit I received was manufactured in China. It worked great the first two times I used it. One of the web sites said the resevoir held one gallon of water but it's really about two-thirds of a gallon. I made seven pounds of ice each of the first two runs, about a week apart and it was great. Another week later the unit was only dropping four cubes at a time. Odd in itself since it has an eight cube capacity. I shut if off and let it sit overnight but it only got worse. The next run was actually 32 hours after shut off and it was only dropping one cube every ten minutes. It's amazing to me that the timing allows this thing to break at the 31st day of ownership... one day after the return period expires. This thing is a colossal waste of money and time! DO NOT BUY THIS!
