Intel Releases New Pentium Series

Many alleged mention that the Pentium name will perish along with the product, but it is wrong. Intel now regenerates the Pentium series of increasingly sophisticated specifications.

Within the last 5 years not seen the signs if Intel wanted to release the latest generation of Pentium. Microprocessor giant that just busy with a series of Core i are kept fixed.

Quoted from tomshardware, Tuesday (05/24/2011), Intel has quietly released the Pentium series that have used the Sandy Bridge architecture for the desktop. Processors are:

- Pentium G620T (dual-core processor, 3MB of cache, 2.2 GHz)
- Pentium G620 (dual-core processor, 3MB of cache, 2.6 GHz)
- Pentium G840 (dual-core processor, 3MB of cache, 2.8 GHz)
- Pentium G850 (dual-core processor, 3MB of cache, 2.9 GHz)

Despite having advanced from the Sandy Bridge architecture, but all processors are sold at a price range from USD 64 to USD 86.
